You may have heard that the MLS Clear Cooperation Policy, also known as NAR MLS Policy Statement 8.0 was approved by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) at its November 11, 2019 meeting.
This policy aspires to ensure all publicly-marketed listings are entered into the MLS so that all participants are exposed to all available listings. NAR mandates that MLSs throughout the country have the policy in place by May 1, 2020. NNRMLS is already working toward an on-time implementation of the Clear Cooperation Policy while following best practice guidelines outlined by NAR and our industry partners.
