Find the form you need FAST in Instanet’s TransactionDesk
If you’re starting a new transaction and looking for forms or you need to print a quick purchase agreement, this post should help you locate forms in Instanet’s TransactionDesk FAST!
If you’re starting a transaction or a template and need to find a particular form, follow these instructions:
Start in the forms sub-folder for the Transaction of Template, then click on the plus mark above the word Add to open the forms folder:
You’ll see the Add forms to transaction window, (seen below). You may not
know where to look for your form or what it’s called, so the Search window will come in handy!
If you’re looking for a purchase agreement (Offer and Acceptance); type into the search window the word offer and it will return search results that contain the word “offer.” You may need to get creative and try different words for some forms.
Decide if you’re looking for an offer form for residential, vacant land or some other listing class. Pick the form by clicking on the round checkbox that corresponds to the form. Once the checkbox is checked click the Add button in the upper right.
Your form is now added to your transaction!
Next, find a form to download to your computer to email or print (Not add to a transaction):
From the Agent Dashboard click on the Forms icon located on the left side of your screen. HINT: It looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded forward.
Use the Search window to type in a key word for your form — this might
take some creativity on your part…for example; what you might know as a “listing contract” might actually be titled Exclusive Right to Sell.
You can see below from our search for an “Exclusive Right to Sell” form we got results that include choices from the Listing Folder and the Commercial Folder. This is because those two versions of listing contracts are different. Also found in our search were “stand-alone” forms that our team created previously. You may or may not get results for “stand-alone” forms, depending on if they were created previously.
Once you decide which form you need click on the three vertical dots that
correspond to the form you would like to reveal a quick-pick menu of choices that include; preview, new, download and print.
For quick printing or downloading, click one of those options in the drop-down menu. To create a new stand-alone form, use the New option in the list and you can even use the Preview option to see what the form looks like beforehand. The New option is best if you intend to fill out the form on your computer before you download it or print it.
