This is a new feature in the “Lite” and “Pro” views of Instanet that will make creating digital signings (that require more than one form) more intuitive and easier!
Here’s the skinny for the “Lite” view: Once you have created a transaction and are ready to have the forms or documents signed digitally, click the boxes next to each form you want to send to Authentisign. Then use the “I would like to” dropdown menu to select the “Sign Selected Forms in Authentisign” option:
Click the blue arrow located just to the right of the “I would like to” dropdown menu. You have “told” Instanet that you want to create a signing with the selected forms added. This works if you are in Forms or Documents.
The following instructions are the same whether you use the “Lite” or “Pro” versions. Check the directions that appear below for how to add the forms and documents in the “Pro” version.
The Authentisign program will now open with those forms inside the documents section, but you won’t see them until you add participants:
1. You’ll land in Authentisign with “Step 1: Details:” opened, click “Simul-Sign,” and then move to “Step 2: Participants.”
2. In “Step 2: Add Participants,” click the middle option, (“Transaction: [Transaction Name]”).
4. Just click the “Save” button in this “System Layout Mappings” window.
5. After you complete “Step 2: Participants,” you’ll notice a green check next to “Step 3: Documents”. When you open this step, the forms you added from Instanet will be pre-loaded.
Now you can proceed to “Step 4: Design,” and make sure all of your signature and initial placeholders are in the correct spot before you send it. If you don’t know how to do Step 4, please enroll in a FREE MLSU class — you can find a list of classes here: NNRMLS MLSU Class Schedule. “Pro” users…I didn’t forget about you! Here’s how to do the same thing I described above but in Pro:
First, in the Transaction Overview click the “Edit” link for “InstanetForms.”
Now, just like in “Lite”; once you’re ready to get your transaction forms or documents signed digitally, simply click the boxes next to each form you want to send to Authentisign, and use the “I would like to” drop-down menu to select “Sign Selected Forms in Authentisign.”
Click the orange arrow located just to the right of the “I would like to” dropdown menu. You have “told” Instanet that you want to create a signing with the selected forms added. This works if you are in Forms or Documents.
*The next steps are the same in the “Pro” or “Lite” versions; please check the directions above for how to proceed in Authentisign.
