Like you, I thought to myself, “How hard could it be to find the location of the NNRMLS Lockbox Exchange, it’s near the Nugget, right? If I can’t find it, I’ll just put it into my phone’s Google Map app!”
Not so fast! Yes, it is NEAR John Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino Resort, but not AT the Nugget as some agents have serenely posited.
What you should know: The location is EAST of McCarran Avenue, but not at the tank farm! Are you scratching your head thinking, “Why the tank farm?” Read on Lockbox Exchanger, and learn how to NOT get lost:
I found out the hard way last week that Google Maps can be misleading. I was due at an early-morning NNRMLS company meeting at the Lockbox Exchange location, 325 E. Nugget Avenue, and before I started the car I pasted the address into my phone’s Google Map app.
A word of advice? Pick the one that says “325 East Nugget Avenue.”
Otherwise, you’ll likely wind up in “silo-land”, (noted by picture above), instead of at the grey-roofed building across McCarran! Needless to say, even though I was close to my destination I felt lost and I wound up texting my boss to help me navigate out of “tank place” and “silo lane”!
