Reno Area Changes
The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® Technology
Committee has recommended area changes to NNRMLS. Based on the recommendations
of RSAR, the following changes to Reno areas will be implemented
on April 1, 2009.
1. A new Area will be created to encompass the Downtown Reno area.
Area 116 - Reno-Downtown will be added to the Paragon system. The
boundaries for area 116 will be between Interstate 80 and Liberty
Street and from Keystone Avenue to Wells Avenue. This area will
also include the area from Liberty Avenue to California Avenue from
Arlington Avenue to Virginia Street. Click the image below for a
detailed map.

2. Area 120 (Reno-Northwest) will be renamed Reno-Old Northwest.
3. Area 122 (Reno-Somersett) will be renamed Reno-Northwest Foothills,
4. The boundary will change between area 121(Reno-Northwest Suburban)
and 122 (Reno-Northwest Foothills) to encompass more than just the
Somersett subdivision. The new boundary will now be from the Somersett
Parkway between Briargate Ct and Crosswater Ct along the Northgate
Golf Course up to Clubhouse Dr. At Clubhouse Ct, it will cross Beaumont
Parkway and follow the canyon up to Peavine Mountain.
5. The southwestern boundary of Area 122 (Reno-Northwest Foothills)
will extend down to old Highway 40 and Interstate 80 at exit 5.
Click the image below for a detailed map of the Northwest Foothills.
NNRMLS will make every attempt to update your current and recently
sold listings to these new areas. We recommend checking your current
and past inventory to make sure the listings are moved into the
correct area.
The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® will NOT be printing
revised wall maps in the future. NNRMS has created online maps.
Access the maps from the Resources menu of the NNRMLS member website
(members.nnrmls.com). The new boundaries will be posted on April
1, 2009.
