Introducing the ActiveKEY

ActiveKEY is the first wireless lockbox key designed by real estate professionals for real estate professionals. ActiveKEY keeps itself updated 24/7 through frequent cellular connections to the Supra network. Virtually no attention is required from you.

When an ActiveKEY opens one of your iBoxes, you receive a real-time instant alert on your key. You know right away when someone has entered your listings! For details, log on to

ActiveKEY is easy to use. Simply scroll through the ActiveKEY menu and follow instructions displayed in a small window. Enjoy lots of friendly features including a built-in flashlight and a brightly lighted keypad and display window. The ActiveKEY comes with a power cord, a mini-USB cable and a clip-on pouch with a pocket for your business cards.

The ActiveKEY is a dedicated lockbox key manufactured by GE Security. It is not a cellular phone, nor a text-messaging device, and you cannot add software to the ActiveKEY.

Because the ActiveKEY keeps itself updated, you may choose to leave it in your car. An optional car charger is available to make sure your ActiveKEY is on hand and ready to go whenever you need it.

Exchange Information

NNRMLS is offering a one-for-one exchange of a DisplayKEY for an ActiveKEY during the week of November 17. Exact times and locations will be posted on this site and on the Paragon Home Page Message as soon as they are available. NNRMLS will be spending one day in Carson City and two days in Reno, and one day in Fallon.

To exchange your key, you will need to bring the following items:
-Your DisplayKEY
-Your DisplayKEY cradle with charger and cords
-A signed lockbox key agreement (to be distributed before the exchange)
-A valid government issued ID card (i.e. drivers license, passport, etc.)

Members will receive:
-One ActiveKEY
-ActiveKEY wall charger
-ActiveKEY USB cable

Car Chargers will be available for purchase for $19.95.

Information For e-KEY Users

If you have opted to use the eKEY software, you will not need to attend the ActiveKEY exchange. However, NNRMLS will need to collect an updated Lockbox System Use Agreement from all members using the Supra Lockbox System.

To make this process as easy as possible for our eKEY users, NNRMLS has uploaded this agreement to the internet with a special MongoFAX cover page. Please follow the instructions below to return the agreement to NNRMLS no later than December 15, 2008. Changing Services

NNRMLS and Supra will not have the resources to make any changes to your lockbox key service levels (e.g. upgrading from a DisplayKEY to an eKEY, or downgrading your eKEY to an ActiveKEY). The exchange event will only be for those exchanging a DisplayKEY for an ActiveKEY. If you would like to adjust your service level, you will need to make an appointment with your local REALTOR® Association.
