| Lockbox Policy Reminder |

As
of June 1, 2009, NNRMLS will begin enforcement of the new
lockbox policy that requires a Supra iBox for member access
to any listing in MLS that has a non-traditional lockbox on
the property. The actual policy verbiage is as follows.

3.10. MLS Lockbox System Box Required. If a Participant or Subscriber participates in the voluntary NNRMLS Lockbox system and if that Participant or Subscriber has placed any lockbox on a listing, NNRMLS requires that the current NNRMLS Lockbox also be placed on the listing. Effective June 1, 2009.

We have found that since our initial announcement of this policy in February 2009, most of our members have taken steps to come into compliance. NNRMLS has been working with your association to ensure that the inventory is available to satisfy member needs. If you need to purchase additional lockboxes, don't wait; give your association a call now.

Fannie Mae Loan Lookup (updated
6/2/09)
Do you need to know whether your client has a Fannie Mae loan? With
your seller's permission, you may go to http://loanlookup.fanniemae.com/loanlookup/
to see if Fannie Mae owns the first mortgage on the property. Very
soon, there will be a field added that will allow you to mark the
property "Fannie Mae First: Yes or No" in the MLS. This
will allow buyer's agents to identify those Short Sale listings
backed by Fannie Mae.
Our MLS has been invited to participate in a short survey by WAV
